Coniuno - Conjugate verbs in different languages
Verbs are the hardest part in any language. The only way to master a language's verbs is to conjugate them until you stop making mistakes. If you want to know how to use verbs correctly, Coniuno can help you. It includes a series of exercises, for conjugating verbs, in various languages. In addition, the software comes with numerous tools, which provide you with conjugations for any verb, in any tense, mode or person, the infinitive form of any verb and much more.
Coniuno is freeware and it works on most Windows platforms. The software is lightweight, so you can download the setup package and install its components in less than a minute. You don't have to install additional tools or services and you don't have to sacrifice too much disk space or resources.
The supported languages include English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and even Latin. The software does not limit you to conjugating verbs in a specific language. You can select one of the aforementioned languages as your native tongue and a different one as your training language.
You may bring up different training exercises, on separate windows, within the main interface. If you select the first training module, the software will display a verb and it will tell you to conjugate it in a certain mode, tense and person. The second module displays a verb, mode and tense and you will have to conjugate the verb for each person. When you proceed to the next person, the software will tell you if your conjugation is correct or not. You may also click different options, to reveal the solution for each person.
Another module consists of a multiple choice test. Coniuno will provide you with a verb and a series of characteristics, like person, mode, tense, if it is active or passive and you will have to select the correct conjugation. If you don't know how to conjugate a certain verb, you can bring up a conjugation table, for one or more of the supported languages. You just have to type in a verb, click a button and the verb will be conjugated in all tenses, modes and persons.
The software provides you with statistics as well. You can find total numbers and percentages for the correct and wrong answers, in certain modes and tenses. The statistics are displayed separately, for each language, on a different window. You can also choose which tenses to include in the exercises, by selecting them, on the general settings window, set up time limits or create your own sets of verbs and include them in the exercises.
